Week 1

Exploring sundials

I started the assignment by downloading sundial templates from the resources in the syllabus and playing around with them.

A vertical sundial template

Had to add in details about the location and the surface the vertical sundial would be on to generate the template

I also tried to see how shadows change with the movement of light.

I tried creating a circular structure with different shapes to explore the movement of the shadows a little

During this process, I kept checking my phone for the time and kept getting distracted by my notifications which made me want to explore a different direction.
