How do I want to portray myself?

I am someone who loves chaos and unpredictability. Unfortunately, so does my hair, so I decided to represent my love for chaos and unpredictability through my hair.

As a child, my dimples were often pointed out to me and it was a feature I strongly started associating with myself. My self-portrait would show these features.

Some rough sketching

Started out by picking the canvas color that I felt matched my personality. I used the image color picker website to find the RGB values.

I wanted to represent chaos and unpredictability as hair that's messy and refuses to stay within boundaries. Created a window within the canvas for this.
Created the shapes in order from back to front.
Had to play around with the arc shape to understand how it works and get the arc I wanted for the lips
When I started working on my hair, I played around with the arc shape a little but wasn't satisfied with the outcome. As the portrait is restricted to using only 2D primitive shapes, I had to re-think how I wanted to represent chaotic hair.

After some experimentation using Illustrator, I decided to use various shapes and twisted quadrilaterals to show this.
Added a few lighter brown shapes to my hair.
